Our music program focuses on individuals and small ensembles as well as Jazz bands, Rock
Bands, Orchestra's and Chorus. Campers can play the style of music that they wish to share
with us. Each week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings our musicians perform for the
rest of the camp in a varied program of instrument and voice recitals, rock concerts, chamber
concerts and performances. With major shows every three weeks! We have Orchestras-Jazz
Bands and Rock Bands that meet daily and perform regularly. Casual student or serious
musician, no need to transpose, the right key for you is at Long Lake Camp. Recently added is
our computer composition studio, you compose arrange and deliver your own creations. We
have a new electronic drum set which opens up vast performing possibilities. This year we are
adding Steel Drums! Once you are ready record your creativity in our state of the art recording
studio. At Long Lake musicians can take a casual interest or seriously study technique and
theory by working daily with accomplished musicians.

Weekly concerts: Campers come to Long Lake to get involved and perform regularly. There are
bands for all types of music from Heavy Metal to Blues, Jazz to Classical. Our bands jam daily
under the guidance of special music coaches. All of our rock bands are rolled out onto the
stage every Saturday Night and perform live for our live rock concert, complete with stadium
sized double stacking Marshal concert amps, exciting background sets, concert lighting,
smoke machines and an excited supportive audience. Jazz and classical campers perform in
our chamber concert every Sunday with a huge stage lighting and support from our talented
music faculty.
